Not every expensive bed should feel cheap — and not every simple bed should cost a fortune.

Fair Beds rebalances the prices and displayed catalog attributes of beds from The Sims 4, making their cost feel more consistent with their design, materials and perceived quality.

The goal is simple: make choosing a bed feel more logical.

• Rebalances the purchase prices of supported beds

• Adjusts the Energy values displayed in Build/Buy

• Adjusts displayed Stress Relief and Discomfort Relief where applicable

• Keeps simpler beds reasonably affordable

• Gives more elaborate and luxurious designs prices that better reflect their appearance

• Uses the original EA/Maxis beds

• Adds no new meshes or textures

• No scripts or additional gameplay systems

Beds were reviewed individually with their style, materials, finish, design and original descriptions in mind.

The values were manually balanced rather than generated automatically.

📦 Two installation options

Fair Beds is available in two formats.

Merged

A single package containing the complete Fair Beds catalog override.

Vyrok_FairBeds_v1.0_Merged.package

Modular

Separate packages for the Base Game and supported packs.

Install:

• the Base Game module

• only the additional modules corresponding to the packs you own

Do not install Merged and Modular together.

📦 Requirements

• The Sims 4 Base Game

• No XML Injector

• No Script Mods

• No external dependencies

• Custom Content and Mods must be enabled

Additional packs are optional. Fair Beds includes individual modules for supported Expansion Packs, Game Packs and other pack content.

🌍 Languages

No translations are required.

Fair Beds does not add custom text or STBL resources. Bed names and descriptions continue using the localization already provided by The Sims 4.

📥 Installation

1. Close The Sims 4.

2. Remove any previous version of Fair Beds / Camas Justas.

3. Download either the Merged or Modular edition.

4. Extract the ZIP.

5. Place the selected .package files inside:

Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods

1. Delete localthumbcache.package.

2. Make sure Custom Content and Mods is enabled.

3. Start the game.

For the Modular version, install only the modules corresponding to the packs you own.

Never install Merged and Modular at the same time.

⚠️ Compatibility

Fair Beds overrides existing COBJ/OBJD resources used by beds.

Mods that modify the exact same bed resources may conflict with Fair Beds.

Fair Beds:

• does not automatically rebalance third-party CC beds

• may require an update after major The Sims 4 patches that change the affected resources
