Cheats: There is a small number of cheats. You can access them by shift+clicking on your sim. You can cheat to get an agent, cheat to clear writing markers, cheat to get a book deal, and cheat to force your book to publish.
Important Note: If your sim is in the Freelance Writer career and you are in the middle of a book that is not for a gig, you must finish that book before trying to start the book for the career. If you are in the middle of a gig, you must finish the book for the gig before you can write a personal book. You cannot have two unfinished books at the same time. Complete the gig book first and then finish your personal book if you have two at the same time.
Compatibility
This career requires only Base Game.
Some work from home assignments and promotion requirements use packs but they aren't required for the mod to work:
Get Famous (for fame)
City Living (for social media/followers, reading mail)
Kuttoe's Career Overhaul is compatible with one important exception: the [Kuttoe] CareerReqs_Writer.package MUST be deleted before using both mods. It is found inside the Career Goals/BG Careers folder.
Conflicts
LMS/Scumbumbo's Keep Books After Publishing will conflict with this mod. However, this mod includes the ability to keep books after publishing included.
Any other mod that changes how sims write (including faster writing) and publish books will probably conflict so if you're having problems, start by removing those, clearing cache, and trying again.
