The Sims 2 fans, get ready! This mod brings back the Interests system, allowing your Sims to have tastes that evolve with their experiences and personality. 🐾📚🎵

📝 What it is

Introduces 18 unique interests that develop and fade based on your Sims' activities: skills, career, school, life events, and more.

Unlike fixed likes/dislikes, interests change over time, reflecting your Sim's true personality at any given moment.

Note: The interest-based conversation system is under development.

⚙️ How it works

Each interest has 7 levels, starting at neutral (4).

Interests increase with: skills, work, school, extracurricular activities, aspirations, college, life events, lifestyles, and traits.

Increasing one interest may decrease another; not everyone can be passionate about everything at once! ⚖️

Changes are indicated by an effect on the Sim's head and notifications.

🧬 CAS Integration

You can assign initial interests in CAS when creating Sims.

Children, teens, and adults have different amounts of automatically generated interests and disinterests.

🔧 Cheats

Shift + click on a Sim > Stats to view and change interests.

Compatible with MC Command Center: MC Cheats > Cheat Sim Info > Change Stat.
