Simulated Endings by Adeepindigo ⚰️

This mod enhances how Sims in The Sims 4 handle death, keeping the base game’s death mechanics but adjusting emotional responses and adding options. Sims experience the five stages of grief (shock/denial, bargaining, anger, depression, acceptance) based on their relationship, relationship level, and familiarity with the deceased, with moodlets varying in strength and duration. They also receive condolence food from other Sims and can write obituaries. Active household members can take bereavement leave (up to 4 days) and arrange final arrangements: no arrangements, funeral service (rabbithole), or memorial service (immediate social event requiring an officiant, with optional musician or catering). Arrangements are made via phone by contacting a funeral director or officiant, with an optional private viewing before the event, which must occur within 3 days. A reminder appears after 1.5 days.

Requirements:

• Game version: 1.116 or higher.
