  • Accessible on any cash register (Get to Work retail registers).
  • Includes four new interactions to manage customer checkout behavior:
    • Enable/Disable Wait at Register: Enabled by default; customers line up at the register. Disable to revert to EA’s default (customers wait near items). Only affects new “Ready to Buy” customers; existing ones stay put.
    • Enable/Disable Ring Up Only at Register: Forces owners and employees to use the register for all checkouts (recommended for immersion). When disabled, Sims may use tablets for some transactions.
    • Ring Up All Customers at Register: Your Sim stations at the register to process all incoming customers, streamlining high-traffic stores.
    • Call Ready Customers to Register: Available when customers are waiting near items (EA default). Select one customer to join the register line, resetting their “Ready to Buy” process (they may choose a different item). Useful for transitioning to register-based checkouts mid-session.
      
• Employee Behavior:
  • Assign the “Ring Up Customers” task to employees via their interaction menu.
  • Employees stay near the register (most times) and use it for checkouts, especially if “Ring Up Only at Register” is enabled.
