MizoreYukii Medieval Interactions only translation
✨Description
✔️ Do you enjoy playing Sims in a specific historical period? Maybe the Middle Ages? Do you have a lot of medieval-themed content? Then you're like me! But you know what I discovered while playing? I love contextual interactions for the era I play in. I always wanted my Sims to be able to talk about the Plague (a huge deal in this day and age), or just gossip with the neighbor about the Nobles and how they have it all, or… maybe even write a love letter to my brilliant Knight, who's fighting another war for the honor of the fatherland… Anyway, there are so many possibilities. And so this mod was born.
With Medieval Interactions, you can talk about topics that were more common in medieval times (although some are probably still used today), and it'll feel like you've stepped back in time.
📌What's included in this mod?
I'm offering you 12 brand-new social interactions and 6 computer interactions. Wait, I know what you're thinking! "Medieval and a computer? What the...?" But bear with me! This seemed like the best option for my "letter-writing" interactions (and besides, there are awesome medieval-themed CCs, but with a computer function).
Module 1: Social Media
When you click on a target Sim, you'll find a circular menu called "Medieval Interactions." If your Sim is in the Young Adult-Elder range, you should see at least 10 unique interactions. Each interaction grants moodlets to both the actor and the target Sim. Additionally, if you use the "Share secret tips you learned from the baker" interaction, it will increase your target Sim's Baking skill, and the "Gossip about this morning's liturgy" interaction will increase the actor's Mischief skill. Social interactions cannot be used when interacting with a child (personally, none of the themes seemed child-friendly to me). Teenagers have access to six of the total interactions.
✔️ Special Interactions: Three social interactions are available under certain conditions.
"Recite a Love Poem": This interaction is available from teenagers to adults, provided the Sim is in a romantic relationship. The boost granted to the actor for this interaction is a real poem, either by Lord Byron or Pushkin, depending on the day.
"Discuss the Possibility of an Arranged Marriage": This is a sad topic, but unfortunately very common in the Middle Ages. This topic can only be played by a parent toward a teenage child (meaning that an ordinary adult cannot have this conversation with a teenager). This interaction is not autonomous; furthermore, if the interaction is successful, the moodlet is neutral (as it is only a conversation); however, if the interaction fails, the outcome will vary depending on the characteristics of the participants. (Confident and ambitious Sims tend to get angry if the interaction fails.)
"Share the excitement upon receiving a letter": This interaction is only available to women, teens, and children after reading a letter from their family. Now, you're probably wondering why I didn't include men as well. The reason is that the moodlet this interaction (reading a letter from your family) grants to male Sims implies they're on a pilgrimage, and I imagine a pilgrim as a lone traveler, so they have no one to share the excitement with. For the female, I imagined she married far from her homeland and shares her excitement with her new family.
