The standalone version of the popular Vacation Home system is finally here!

This mod lets you buy second homes for your Sims without needing to install the full More Buyable Venues pack.

💡 IMPORTANT:
If you already use More Buyable Venues – Holiday Homes, you DO NOT need this mod.

✨ WHAT DOES THIS MOD DO?

🏠 Buy Holiday Homes
🏖️ Own more than one residence
💸 Manage separate finances
🎭 Perfect for weekend getaways, vacations, or storytelling

🛠️ HOW IT WORKS (STEP BY STEP)
1️⃣ Convert the lot

🔧 In Build Mode, select the lot
➡️ Change the lot type to Holiday Home

2️⃣ Buy the house

💻 Return to your household
➡️ Use the “Buy Holiday Home” interaction
📂 Computer → Home Menu

3️⃣ Automatic travel

🚗 Your Sim will buy the house and travel automatically
💰 Upon arrival, a window will appear to transfer money to the holiday home

4️⃣ Build and Remodel

🏗️ To use Build/Buy:

The Holiday Home must have funds.

Use “Venue Fund Transfer” to add money later.

5️⃣ Sell the house

🌍 In World View
➡️ Click the (...) icon in the bottom right corner.
➡️ Select Sell Holiday Home.

⚠️ IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW

🚫 Not the primary residence.

Your Sims will commute to work from their primary home.

They will automatically return there after work.

👥 If a Sim stays at the Holiday Home:

Use “Bring Sim Here” from the Away Sim options.

🧹 Services:

✅ One-time services (spot cleaning, etc.) work.

❌ Regular services and butler may not work.

👨‍👩‍👧 Ideal For:

Family vacations

Parents getting away for the weekend

Retirement homes

Realistic storytelling
