Are your Sims having it too easy? 😏 This mod by LittleMsSam is for those who enjoy a challenge and want to turn a normal game into a true test of endurance. 💪✨

It adds the new Challenge-Junkie personality trait and the Self-Made Titan aspiration, designed to complement the trait and reward Sims who progress without shortcuts.

🎯 Challenge-Junkie

Available for teens and older, this trait makes practically everything require more effort:

💰 Starting Funds at §0
If the Sim lives alone in their household, their funds are reset to §0 when they first acquire the trait.

📚 Slower Skills
All skills progress at 0.5x the normal rate.

❤️ Slower Relationships
Friendships and romantic relationships increase by 0.5x.

⭐ Fewer Satisfaction Points
Satisfaction points earned are reduced by 0.5x.

💼 Slower Career Progress
Progress gained through actions related to career performance is also reduced by 0.5x.

💸 Selling Items Earns Less Money
Sold items yield only 50% of their usual value in most cases.

⚙️ Want a Different Challenge?

There are also two alternative versions:

🟢 Challenge-Junkie Easy → 0.75x multiplier

🔴 Challenge-Junkie Hard → 0.25x multiplier

⚠️ Only one of the three versions of the trait can be used.

🧠 New Interactions

Sims with the Challenge-Junkie trait or those with the Self-Made Titan aspiration active will have access to new interactions:

🗣️ In Sims

Bragging about achievements earned without shortcuts.

Complaining about the daily grind.

🪞 In Mirrors

Practice mental toughness.

💻 On Computers, Tablets, and Phones

Researching extreme strategies.

These interactions can generate different 2-hour moods, some positive and some negative, temporarily modifying the difficulty of progress.

🌟 Dynamic Moods

The challenge also affects certain events in the Sim's life:

📈 Leveling up a skill → positive mood.

🏆 Getting a promotion → positive mood.

💼 Losing a job → negative mood.

Positive emotes can provide a small, temporary boost, while negative ones can make progress even harder for a few hours. 🔥

🏅 Self-Made Titan

The new Self-Made Titan aspiration complements the Challenge-Junkie trait and is designed for Sims who want to prove they can achieve their goals without easy money, shortcuts, and hard work. 💪🏆
