✨When a Hidden has a child with a Non-Hidden or a different Hidden, what their child will be is a toss-up between one or the other. This is well exemplified with the children of Vampires. Unlike when Aliens have children, where AlienPart becomes a possibility rather than just Alien or an alternate being the only options, with Vampires, the child will either be a Vampire or not, and if a Non-Hidden child is born to a Vampire, you can always turn them later in life. This mod introduces a degree of uncertainty into Vampire reproduction by having biological children who will not be simple offspring that can be turned, because they will already have vampire-like traits.

🦇To take the most basic example, if a Vampire and a Non-Hidden normally have a child, this would be either a Vampire or a Non-Hidden. Now, if the child is born as a Non-Hidden, they will have a random number of Vampire powers (between 1 and 5), and will not be able to become a Vampire because they will technically already be part Vampire. Not only that, but later generations descended from a Vampire will also be able to inherit a number of those same random Vampire powers at the cost of not being able to become true Vampires, with the benefit that they could be any other Hidden without losing access to said power. The number of powers, as well as whether their nature is that of a mortal or an immortal, will be greatly influenced by both how close they are to their Vampire ancestor, and how lucky (or unlucky) they are in the genetic lottery.
