Inspired by March Madness, this is an overhaul of the athletic race. It changes the way Sims are promoted within the career and the activities required for promotion.
When entering the bodybuilders branch, your sim has to compete and win a professional show in order to advance. When entering the professional athlete branch, your Sims must hire an agent, compete in a combine to be eligible to be drafted and have their agent negotiate a franchise contract.
Bodybuilders and professional athletes will now have to compete in and win (though sometimes lose) bodybuilding competitions and sports games, respectively, in order to advance. Games and competitions take place during regular business hours twice a week, but can also be conducted through new interactions. Sims must also participate in sponsorship and brand promotion deals and earn fame at higher levels. Additional requirements include media interviews and training seminars.
