Satan is known for his sharp intellect, love of books, and the volatile temper he works constantly to keep in check — a demon caught between the pull of his rage and his desire to be seen as more than it. Cadence was written as someone who meets that duality with calm rather than fear. She's thoughtful and quietly perceptive, drawn to Satan's mind before anything else, and steady enough to stay grounded when his temper flares without ever trying to smooth it away or fix him.
