The plan was to use Paranormal and make it haunted, but after switching the windows and changing the colors countless times, it didn't look creepy anymore.
I wanted to differ from the color scheme of my previous Ravenwood house, but each wallpaper swatch from the pack has a different wood color, so I didn't have many options. Changing the lights to be less warm would be an easy way to tone down the brown, but I thought it would be more fun to go all out with the wood, especially considering how it mostly all matched.
I imagine this house to be more Esther than Zuleika's, as it's less plant focused, so xie got the main bedroom, which is bigger and has a covered balcony. Both rooms have their favorite colors and include a tarot print that references what ended their lives. This is a small lot and I wanted big open spaces, so the dining room got cut in favor of the kitchen and living room. For a similar reason I decided to add a toddler bedroom, even if the ghosts who live/lived here don't have one.
The secret basement has a bunch of activities that didn't fit upstairs, including a bar, which Esther likes. I also placed a coffin for variety sake, as the house already had 4 bedrooms.
During playtesting I found out there's an an invisible barrier in front of the lot, forcing sims to go around it. Tested it on a new save without mods and the bug still happened.
By the way, I don't count towers, attics or basements as floors, since the former are mostly just one room, the second are technically roof, while the last are below ground (it's like a floor -1).
