- common areas: Open living on the ground floor from the front door to the back deck, with a generous galley kitchen, dining nook, living room space and workshop/garage in between.
Interior features: The home is a modern Scandi special, which means black/white/gray contrasting everywhere, across a variety of fabrics and textures, man made and organic. All home furnishings in signature brown/black provided by SIMKEA and IKEA (Sims 2 conversion), plus some extras by Littledica, Syboulette and HouseofHarlix. Basically, this is my dream loft Scandi house from 20 years ago, with some touch-ups to keep it current. Sans the GALANT corner desk - I could not find a mod to represent my all time favorite IKEA object, though the old thicc MALM bed does take me back in time.
Exterior features: The home is a two-story slab side with gable roof, and addition of a modern square garage with portico out front. The house is paneled in black, while the garage has white concrete contrasting. The home features black loose stone and white flagstone pathing. Around back, you'll find a covered deck, for entertaining - and a lido deck/hot tub space perfect for lounging in the long midsommar.
Three SimPrime favorite things about this home:
- If I had to pick a house, I pick this one. The modern style meeting with timeless contrast is perfect.
- The lofted bedroom has great views of historic Windenburg plus a small working space, great for work-from-home
- The lido deck is fantastic, and with a hot tub you can't go wrong spending all day there.
