Animated Axolotl
Axolotls came with the Lovestruck Expansion Pack, where they can be found in logs all around the world of Ciudad Enamorada. After being caught, they will appear in a aquarium in your inventory. You can then drag them into your builds.

I've liberated all of these axolotls from their aquarium and placed them under one single thumbnail in build mode. Now they can be placed everywhere you want and can be used as decoration in your ponds for example.

Recolors
Besides these 15 default recolors, I've also created 1 bonus recolor (see Image tab). This bonus type has a more realistic color of the eyes and gills (compared to the most commonly known (pet) Albino Axolotl in game) and can be found in the first swatch. Some of the default ones have some small color changes too, but that's because of problems I had with the texture files.

Animation
Besides the default movement of the axolotl's body and tail, I've also added an On/Off interactions to activate bubbles (see image tab).
This helps making the axolotls to feel more alive and makes them better visible underneath the water surface.
I recommend when using multiple axolotls, to only activating the bubbles on a few of them.

Placement
The object can be placed both on terrain as underneath all water surfaces (ponds, pools, fountains and oceans).
It's possible to place items close to or even through the object.
By using both of the above, you can easily place these axolotls near underwater rocks, plants or each other.

Custom Aquarium
The reason they're also placeable on terrain, is for if you want to make a custom aquarium like on the image below.
In this case, I've build a 1x5 'room', raised a platform and added some windows to make it look like an aquarium.
By activating bubbles on some of them, you really get the feeling they're underwater.

Interactions
Besides the already mentioned On/Off interaction to activate bubbles, Your Sim will also be able to make the axolotl into a heirloom and place it in their inventory.
You can't breed with these axolotls, neither do they have a viewing interaction.

Short notes
• This object requires the Lovestruck Expansion Pack.
• It's a standalone object, so it won't override any other objects in game.
• It can be found by going to Build Mode > Outdoor Water Décor > Pond VFX.
• You can also find it by typing "Axolotl" into the search bar.
• The object's catalog thumbnail, shows the Bonus Albino Axolotl recolor with my "BakieGaming" icon in the lower right corner. All others can be found as a recolor of this object.
