ℹ️Grotto Cascades & Rocks - Free Placement & Rotation Pack
This pack comes with 2 waterfall rocks, 2 Rock overrides and an extra Splash + Water Ripples VFX object. The Grotto Cascade + Grotto Accent Rocks both come from the Riviera Retreats Kit, that's why this pack is required for those objects to appear in your game too.

 

Grotto Cascade Objects
The default Grotto Cascade objects can only be placed on the edge of a pool or fountain. With the 'MoveObject on' cheat enabled, they can also be placed elsewhere (though not in or on water surfaces) and you can't freely rotate them (only in steps of 45°).

My 2 new waterfall objects (Standalone) are freely placeable everywhere, near or through other objects, freely rotatable and can be placed on all water surfaces. I've also added the possibility for them to be placed through walls. This was needed for them to still have the ability to be placed on pool and fountain edges. They can also be found in the Pond Objects Category now (besides the Fountain category) and can't be stolen by a burglar, repossessed or recycled.

Something that bothers me with the original Grotto Cascade objects, is that their Catalog Thumbnails only show the rock and not the waterfall itself. I've fixed this for my own Grotto Cascade versions.

(The default Grotto Cascades objects, will still be available in your game for easier placement on pool and fountain edges)

Grotto Cascade (NEW) Splash VFX - Invisible Object
Because of the possibility of placing the Grotto Cascade objects on water surfaces, their original splash VFX will disappear underneath the water surface. That's why I've also added an Invisible Object spawning Water Splashes and Water Ripples VFX. This object can be placed on all water surfaces and close to/through other objects. It can't be stolen by a burglar, repossessed or recycled.
For the Large Grotto Cascade object, you will need 2 of these object. The Small Grotto Cascade object can do with one, but more is possible too of course.

 

Grotto Rock Overrides
I've also made overrides of the Grotto Accent Rocks, to make them to be placeable close to/through other objects and below water surfaces. They also can't be stolen by a burglar, repossessed or recycled.

EXAMPLE IMAGES

Back to Back Waterfall
When mixing the 2 waterfall objects with each other and adding the new Water Splash VFX object, you can create all kinds of different looking bigger waterfalls. In the example below, I've placed 4 large waterfall rocks back to back with a small waterfall rock on the corner.

On the water surface I've placed my invisible Splash VFX objects and on the top of the fountain I've added a Base Game small dome water emitter.

Huge Waterfall Wall
When mixing the Grotto Cascades, Grotto Rocks and the Water Splash object you can create a huge waterfall wall, like the one below/on the thumbnail. Adding my Updated Water Stream VFX object at the bottom, makes it even look better!
