My modular lifestyle tweak mod alters lifestyles so that they are less annoying and more varied. It consists of several modules that can be combined just as you wish.

There is one file for each lifestyle / pair of lifestyles (work, coffee, food, traveler, inoutdoorsy, technic, friends, adrenaline, sedentary, energetic). These modules tweaks lifestyles to be more varied so that not every Sim gets the same lifestyles and some lifestyles can hardly ever be achieved. It also gets rid of some minor annoyancs like workaholic Sims heading off to work whenever left unattended.
For instance, the friends module will take in account only good friends to determine whether a Sim gets the cofidant lifestyle. 

This is the workaholic lifestyles module. It fixes several bugs and annoyances with the workaholic lifestyle. 

Your Sims will esp. not get the workaholic lifestyle as easily and they will no longer go to work off hours at every single chance you leave them unattended for a moment. The workaholic lifestyle will now also unlock certain work specific interactions (e.g. brag about job title), that are normally restricted to the business career. Performing the share lifestyle tips interaction successfully will enhance the workaholic lifestyle so that your Sims will not be as tense on their regular off work days.
