This mod introduces a new interaction in the debug/cheat pie menu: "Recognize as Family"
Selecting this interaction will add a generic "Family" relationship bit between the active Sim and the target Sim. The relationship bit will appear in the sim info panel, prevent Sims from romancing one another, and unlock family-specific interactions. To find the interaction, enable testingcheats and then shift + click on another Sim. To remove the Family relationship, shift + click the Sim you previously recognized and select "Unrecognize as Family."
For those with MC Command Center, you can also add the "Family" relationship bit via the Relationship Bits menu.
Any two Sims can recognize each other as family, provided they aren't already related. Recognizing a Sim as family will not alter the family tree in any way. The interaction won't add a Sim to the Family filter group in the relationship panel, but this is something I'd like to explore in the future.
Compatibility
- This mod does not directly overwrite any files so it won't conflict with other mods.
- This mod is base game compatible.
