Out Of The Dark

This mod is a complete rework of the game's indoor lighting. It will not affect outdoor lighting!

The main focus of Out Of The Dark is creating a balance between gameplay and looks.

In dark areas, the blue tint is gone and shadowed objects look softer.

Sims lose the egregious blue rim light and blend in with the environment.

Issues that have been present since the game's release, like the awkward lighting in sims' reflections, are also fixed.

Screenshots above were taken using my Cubemap Remover mod, which further improves the appearance of dark areas.

Although not required, it's a nice addition to Out Of The Dark and I recommend trying it out as well.
