Tired of food going bad in your Sims' fridge or store? Frustrated with inventory items spoiling? This mod is here to save your day! 💫

✨ Mod Features

Say goodbye to spoilage! This mod keeps ALL your food, drinks, consumables, ingredients and craftable items eternally fresh. No more spoiled items - ever! (Just make sure to keep the mod updated 😉)

No more last-minute cake baking before your Sims birthday parties, no more wasting money on spoiled deliveries. All your items will just simply stay fresh forever, so you can focus on playing the game!

These items stay fresh forever:

• All types of meals and drinks (including snacks, baked goods, deliveried meals, market stall meals, and much more)
• All ingredients (including prepped ingredients, milk, eggs, fish and much more)
• All craftable items (including fizzy drinks, flower arrangements and much more)
• Pet Food (if you own Cats & Dogs EP)
• Leaf Piles (if you own Seasons EP)

EXTRA INFORMATION

⭐ Quality System Remains Intact

The quality system stays untouched! You can still craft, gather and buy items of different qualities (from Poor to Masterpiece). They'll just never spoil, regardless of quality.

ℹ️ Previously Spoiled Food

Use the Cheats module of this mod to refresh any food that spoiled before installing the core mod (v. 1.0 of this mod includes the Make Fresh cheat inside the core mod).

BONUS FEATURES (FROM V. 2.0)

✨ Standalone Cheats Module

From v. 2.0, I’ve added a separate package containing the cheats features from this mod. You can install it without the core mod if you don’t want the full no‑spoiling system in your game.

Make Fresh Cheat

This cheat lets you make previously spoiled items fresh again.

Make Spoiled Cheat

This cheat lets you make items instantly spoiled.

How-to-use the cheats

🌍 For items available in the world:

• Shift-click the item + choose the "Make Fresh" / "Make Spoiled" cheat interaction

📦 For items inside any inventory:

• Click directly on the item choose the "Make Fresh" / "Make Spoiled" interaction.

🔧 Mod Compatibility

This mod works great with many other mods! I've tested it with popular large mods, custom food mods, and small business/retail mods.

Just keep in mind: if you have another mod that does the same thing (e.g., overrides the "freshness_decay" system), you'll need to remove that mod for this one to work properly. Otherwise, you might still see some items spoiling—but don't worry, that's the worst that could happen! 😊

🛠️ Mod Requirements:

• Lot51 Core library mod (contains important code for this mod to work).

➡️ Installation Help:

• Unzip the file and add the folder to your Mods folder, or any folder inside this folder (it can't be placed more than 5 folders deep though).
   
  • Full mod: Install both the main file and the addon file if you want the full mod (No Spoiling + Cheats).
  • Cheats only: Install only the addon file if you don't want the No Spoiling part of the mod, but still want to be able to click single items and toggle between spoiled and fresh states.
    

🔄️ Update Notes

v. 2.0 - August, 2026 (available in Early Access until September 19th)

• Added one new cheat: Make Spoiled (toggle freely between Fresh/Spoiled).
• Added cleaner cheat icons (standard “immediate interaction” orange circle).
• Modular downloads: cheats are now separate from the main mod (keep both or only use the cheats if you don't want the spoiling part of the mod).
• Fixed EA string issue: “Clean Out Spoiled Food” now correctly shows “Clean Up”.
• Improved spoil‑logic coverage across all food states, perks and modifiers.
• Fixed a small issue with the Make Fresh cheat + “impeccable” quality behaving inconsistently (this was happening very rarly).

v. 1.2.1 - July 22, 2025:

• Fixed issue with "Make fresh" interaction not appearing on Fish, Leaf Piles, Flower Arrangements & Pet Food.

v.1.2 - July 6, 2025:

• Fixed issue with the "Make fresh" text appearing on incorrect objects.
