Bird Life

This mod requires the Cottage Living EP (unless you don’t mind pink soup birds), enhanced by Cats and Dogs, and Growing Together.

Break out your binoculars, it’s time to birdwatch. Bird Life will autonomously summon birds to your lot where they’ll perch, fly and sing.

You can spot avians of many types depending on your region, season, and time of day. Some birds may land or take off from a surface if any slots are available outdoors. If you have Cats and Dogs, the interact-able Pigeons and Seagulls will also appear.

A perfect companion to the Free-Range and Bug Life mods.

Birdwatching

If you have the Growing Together EP, your sims can birdwatch with binoculars! Click on your Sim and select Birdwatch. If your Sim is inside, they will find a nice bench to sit on outside. If you’re already outside they will bust out the ‘nocs in their current position.

Birdwatching can make your Sim less tense or sad and can get your Sim inspired if they spot any birds.

Certain Sims will autonomously birdwatch when weather permitting:

• Loves Outdoors, or Animal Enthusiast traits
• Likes Birds preference from ChippedSim’s Animal Preferences (Paws & Claws)

Cheats

birds.spawn

Immediately spawns a bird on the active lot.

birds.spawn_interactable

Immediately spawns an interact-able pigeon or seagull flock on the active lot.
