This is a free animated cartoon-style Halloween map replacement for Forgotten Hollow. It changes the world-map screen only. Playable neighborhoods, lots, builds, households and gameplay are unchanged. These are ambient map animations, not new playable interactions.
Requirements The Sims 4 Vampires Game Pack. No script mods are required.
Installation
- Close The Sims 4 and extract the ZIP.
- Place Forgotten_Hollow_Cartoon_Worlds_Animated_Halloween_Edition_by_Modnest.package in your Sims 4 Mods folder.
- Remove any other Forgotten Hollow map replacement, including static, realistic or regular animated versions. Keep only one replacement per world. These five Halloween maps can be used together because they replace different worlds.
- Delete localthumbcache.package from your Sims 4 user folder while the game is closed. The game recreates it.
- Enable Custom Content and Mods, restart if prompted, and open Forgotten Hollow in Manage Worlds.
To uninstall, close the game and remove this package. Clear localthumbcache.package if the old map remains cached.
