The exterior was based in a real house I saw. My goal was to recreate it as small as possible due to the existing amount of floors. Even so, there was enough space for 4 bedrooms and bathrooms!

Considering Seasons isn't Base Game, ensuring it looked good without snow was essential. I had no idea where to place it, so to Newcrest it went. The neighborhood comes empty, but I had already made a few more mismatching builds. Its neighbor, the Plant Sim Greenhouse, was covered by trees to remedy that.

Christmas by itself can be a lot, so I dialed back on everything else to make it the focus of the room. Plains walls also facilitated experimenting with accent walls, which was carried through most rooms. I imagine the couple who lives here makes toys and paintings. Their kids are into space, sitcoms and romance, respectively.

The dormers on the exterior made the attic harder to plan, especially considering how the windows were more limited. I wanted two offices on the hallway bump-out, but the railing poles were nonexistent in one of the sides, so I pivoted and turned that into a secret room with collectibles and a drawing tablet. The bigger bedroom shape was so awkward that I had to reduce its size to get a longer straight wall. Managed to fit a gym in that tiny space, and it works! I had already done a closet in that bedroom, so the smaller one got a bookshelf blocked by a shining Christmas tree.

The backyard was stressing me out, and I didn't want to completely remove its neighbor just to get a photo, but it sure is there!
