Description
This journey started with me trying to create the illusion of 3D hairstyles using a 2D texture method. You can see that every angle of this custom scalp hairstyle is detailed and gives a real sense of dimensional hair. I’m incredibly proud of how this looks, and I never in my dreams thought I would be able to create something like this!
The main challenge with this type of hairstyle is that, because it’s 2D, making it look good across all hair shades — from light to dark — was really difficult. I’m happy to say that I’ve finally developed a method that allows me to achieve that!
And then I decided to try myself in the 3D world once again, and I came up with these 5 simple low-poly hairstyles, just to add a little extra detail!
