PlumAntics Simstrology Skill is the learning and progression add-on for the Simstrology ecosystem.
Where the main Simstrology Mod gives Sims a chart and a Simstrological identity, this package turns Simstrology into something Sims can actively study, practice, and improve over time.
This is the add-on that transforms Simstrology from identity into mastery.
What this mod adds
This package introduces the Simstrology skill for teen-and-up Sims.
Sims can build that skill through multiple study paths, including:
- computer research
- themed Simstrology theory interactions
- reading Simstrology books and traditions
- whiteboard classes and lectures
- sky-watching and telescope-adjacent study flavor
The result is a more academic, learnable version of Simstrology that feels like a real pursuit inside the save.
How it works with the main mod
This package is especially important because it creates a progression path into deeper chart interpretation.
The design loop is:
- the core mod gives the Sim a chart
- the Skill mod teaches the Sim how to understand and work with that chart
- higher skill unlocks richer interpretation and more advanced readouts
In the current design, Level 4 Simstrology is the major interpretation tier where fuller chart reading begins to open up.
Why it matters
This package gives Simstrology effort, growth, and payoff.
Instead of astrology existing only as a background identity layer, Sims can research it, read about it, practice it, and gradually become more knowledgeable over time.
That makes Simstrology feel more like a discipline than a label.
