Pied Piper's Toy Making Bench Unofficial Script Fix

This is an unofficial script fix for PiedPiper's "Toy Making Bench" mod. The original Python script has become outdated due to major game engine updates, causing lastException errors and the complete disappearance of the interaction menus.
This fix rewrites the underlying script to ensure the mod functions correctly in the current version of The Sims 4.

⚠️ IMPORTANT INSTALLATION WARNING
DO NOT use the CurseForge App for automatic installation!
This fix requires you to manually delete the original script file. Automatic installation may result in both old and new scripts being present, leading to conflicts. Please follow the manual installation steps below.

🛠️ Installation Instructions
This download contains the script file (.ts4script) only. You must have the original 3D models (package files) for this to work.
1️⃣ Download the Package File
    → Ricky's Mom has updated and optimized the package file, so I highly recommend downloading it from the Patreon page!　
  → Or visit PiedPiper’s original CurseForge page or Patreon to download the original mod.
2️⃣ Delete the Old Script
　→ In your mod folder, manually delete the original script file:
　　 📄 PiedPiper_preference_ToyMaking.ts4script
3️⃣ Install the Fix
　→ Place the downloaded fix script into the same folder as the original .package files:
　　 📄 PiedPiper_ToyMaking_AP_Patch.ts4script
4️⃣ Check Pathing
　→ Ensure the script and package files are kept together in the same folder and are not placed deeper than one subfolder level under your Mods directory.

✨ Original Features
1️⃣ Functional Bench & Skill: A fully functional toy-making bench with a custom skill and unlockable recipes.
2️⃣ Extensive Crafting List: Includes up to 40 different craftable toys.
3️⃣ CAS Preferences: Set your Sim's "Like" or "Dislike" for toy-making in CAS.
4️⃣ PandaSama Integration: Certain toys are compatible with PandaSama's Toddler Toy Framework.

🤝Sharing & Author's Rights
As a fan who enjoys this gameplay, I noticed the original creator, PiedPiper, has been inactive since April 2025 and did not return in July 2025 as previously announced. Because I love this mod so much, I decided to revive it by rewriting the script to resolve errors, ensuring this wonderful gameplay remains available for the community.
I have the respect for PiedPiper's original work, and this patch is my sharing with the community. If the original creator return, they have my full permission to use, modify, or re-integrate this fix into the official version of the mod.

🛠️ 安裝說明 (Installation Instructions)
此修復包僅包含腳本檔案 (.ts4script)，你必須擁有原作者的模型本體檔案才能運作。
1️⃣ 下載原版模型
　→ 前往PiedPiper原模組CurseForge 頁面 或Patreon下載原版模組。
2️⃣ 手動刪除舊腳本
　→ 進入你存放該模組的資料夾，手動刪除舊有的腳本檔案：
　　 📄 PiedPiper_preference_ToyMaking.ts4script
3️⃣ 放入修復腳本
　→ 將本頁面下載的修復版腳本放入資料夾中，與原版的 .package 檔案放在一起：
　　 📄 PiedPiper_ToyMaking_AP_Patch.ts4script
4️⃣ 檢查路徑
　→ 請確保腳本與 package 檔案位於同一資料夾內，且存放深度不超過 Mods 資料夾下的第一層子資料夾。

🤝 開放共享與原作者權利
作為一個喜愛這個模組遊戲玩法的玩家，我發現原作者PiedPiper自2025年4月起便停止活動，且未如原先宣稱於7月回歸。為了不讓這麼棒的模組就此失效，我決定將它復活，重寫腳本以修復報錯，讓所有喜愛玩具製作的玩家能繼續使用。
我尊重PiedPiper的原創作品，這個修復補丁與社群分享。若原作者未來決定回歸，我非常歡迎並授權PiedPiper自由使用、修改或將此修復內容整合回官方版本中。
