Unlocks the ability to send Sims home during social events. By default, the game would not let you send certains Sims home while other Sims in your household could still enjoy the rest of the event.

I find this to be rather annoying if you play with households consisting of more than one Sim and one of them is getting low needs but you would rather have the others stay at the event. 

Note that the info in the Sim panel will still say your Sim can't go home because of the event. You will have to click on your Sim directly to send them home. That way, you can be sure to not accidentally end any events by sending the last played Sim home.
