Forever Secrets

This mod is a simple change to the duration secrets are kept. Instead of fading into obscurity in the usual 7 days, secrets will last 1000 days to cover most sim lifespans.

For secrets such as "secret child" this removes the short timeframe where there is a chance to discover the biological parent. This allows different longterm story-telling gameplay.

FEATURES:

• Secrets last 1000 days before fading into obscurity
• All other features of Royalty & Legacy secrets are unchanged
• Once secrets are discovered, the scandals still last their original times (often 7 days)

DOWNLOAD OPTIONS:

1. JFOForeverSecretsAll.zip 

• Simple all-in-one .package file that makes all secrets last 1000 days

2. JFOForeverSecrets.zip

• Each secret is its own .package file with a corresponding name
• You can choose which specific secrets you want to change to 1000 days and which to keep as their original
• Here is a helpful guide online for descriptions of all scandals (not my writing - credit to the author) 
  • How to choose:
    • Option 1 - DELETE or move the .package files from the folder to keep the corresponding secret REGULAR LENGTH

Do not use both options at the same time

This was made as a simple fix for myself but I have seen others online wanting secrets to not disappear so I'm sharing it. My first time modding :)
