Better Burglars

Adds new burglar actions and rewards for a more playful burglary experience.

Better Burglars expands the interactions available during a burglary, giving your Sims more playful (and dramatic) ways to scare off intruders. This mod adds several new burglar‑reaction options — each tied to the packs their animations come from.

New interactions include:

• Mock Burglar (Base Game)
• Spray Burglar (Discover University)
• Crumplebottom Burglar (Cottage Living)
• Use the Force (Journey to Batuu)
• Throw Dyed Drink (Eco Lifestyle)

Each option only appears if the player owns the required pack, keeping menus clean and preventing broken animations.

To make burglar encounters more rewarding, the mod also adds a gold bar drop when using EA’s existing “bash the burglar” interactions. (While the gold bar originates from Cats & Dogs and the purple “poof” effect comes from Paranormal, neither pack is required — the mod simply uses them if available.)

A fun, lighthearted upgrade to burglary chaos, perfect for storytelling and gameplay variety.
