Tired of manually telling your Sims to upgrade their speakers?
With Auto Speaker Upgrade, Sims can autonomously upgrade speakers on their own whenever they meet the required conditions. It makes Handiness-focused Sims feel more proactive while keeping the original upgrade progression and requirements intact.
✨ Features
🔧 Autonomous Speaker Upgrades
Sims can now autonomously perform available upgrades on speakers without needing the player to manually queue the interaction.
🛠️ Respects Vanilla Requirements
This mod does not bypass the game's normal upgrade requirements.
Your Sim still needs:
- The required Handiness Skill level
- The necessary Upgrade Parts
- Any other requirements normally needed for the upgrade
If your Sim isn't qualified or doesn't have enough parts, they won't autonomously perform that upgrade.
🏠 Lot Owner Only
Sims will only autonomously upgrade speakers when they own the current lot.
This prevents Sims from visiting another household and deciding to upgrade their speakers, or autonomously improving objects on community lots.
Your Sims take care of their own stuff — not everyone else's!
🎮 How It Works
Once your Sim has the required Handiness Skill and Upgrade Parts, the game can autonomously choose an available speaker upgrade when appropriate.
You can still manually upgrade speakers exactly as usual. The mod simply adds autonomy to the existing upgrade interactions.
📦 Compatibility
- Designed to work with the game's existing speaker upgrade system.
- Does not remove or bypass the original Handiness Skill or Upgrade Parts requirements.
- Only affects autonomous behavior; manual upgrade interactions remain unchanged.
- May conflict with other mods that modify the same speaker upgrade interactions or their autonomy tuning.
