Ask Question: Yes/No/Maybe

Sometimes my Sims have questions that I don’t want to decide the answer to:

“Want to go grab boba?”
“Want to go fishing on Saturday?”
“Mum, can I have a sleepover?”

I created this mod to let the target Sim answer for themselves, so storytelling and gameplay feel more spontaneous.

This mod adds a new interaction: Ask Question

When your Sim asks, the target Sim responds with a flavoured Yes, No, or Maybe response in the Notification Centre.

This mod includes:

• New interaction: Ask Question (Under Friendly > Small Talk)
• Random responses: Yes / No / Maybe notification
  • Each response type has multiple text variations (so it won’t always be the same line).
  • Weighted so Yes is more likely than No, and Maybe is least likely
• Both Sims receive a corresponding buff
  • Light relationship gain/loss depending on Yes/No answer
• Available for Child–Elder

Note on “Maybe”

The Maybe response is meant to be a “I can't provide a clear answer right now—ask again later” type of answer. If you get a Maybe, you can ask the same Sim again later in hopes of getting a clearer Yes or No. I use it as a way to show uncertainty, or that the target Sim needs time to think.
