About a year ago, a question popped up on Reddit:

At that time, we were just starting out in the modding world, with a lot of trial and error… but we finally did it! 🎉 So let's take a look at everything this mod offers, in case you're new to it 👀👇

🧠💬 THINK BEFORE YOU TEXT

We all react impulsively… and Sims do too 😅
That's why you can't end a relationship directly via text message now 📵💔.

👉 Your Sim will have to reflect on the relationship by talking things through first.

🕒 After doing so, they'll gain an emotional state that lasts 3 Sim days, during which they can use the text breakup option.

🤔⚖️ NO ARGUMENT

Your Sims can take a moment to think, gain perspective, and reflect on their relationship ❤️‍🩹
✔️ After that, they unlock the text breakup option again.

💔📱 FIX IT OR END IT?

With Digital Romance, your Sims can end relationships over the phone if they are:
💑 In a relationship
💍 Engaged
💔 Married

📲 From the Digital Romance app on your mobile device, select the Sim and… let the drama begin.

👉 Both the one who ends the relationship and the one who is dumped will receive unique buffs 😢😠

🐢❤️ SLOW BUT SURE

It's not all about breaking up! 😏
You can also officially ask someone out via text message 📩💞
This option will grant special buffs and add realism to digital relationships.

🗣️❓ EXPLAIN YOURSELF

After a breakup, the dumped Sim can:
😤 Demand an explanation
🎭 And you, as the player, choose the reason

⚠️ Each option triggers different reactions, choose carefully!
There's also the option to explain the reason for the breakup.

🙏💔 APOLOGIES ACCEPTED?

If both Sims manage to be in the same room 😬
➡️ They can use "Apologize for the Breakup"

💬 The other Sim can:
✔️ Forgive
❌ Completely ignore

🎯 It's all up to you.

🧼✨ A FRESH START

For couples who decide to try again (again… and again… 😅):
🆕 A new relationship type is added: "Fresh Start"

✔️ Romance resets to 0
✔️ Romantic satisfaction is removed (if you have LoveStruck)
✔️ Friendship remains at a decent level

💞 The future of the relationship… is up to you.

Now you can send a “WooHoo Text” 😏

👉 The Sim will arrive home with a flirty status 💋
📌 Requirement: Minimum friendship level of 30
