Key Traits: Sims automatically receive one of three traits when they start the game: "Believes in the Occult," "Doesn't Believe in the Occult," or "Witnessed the Occult." Sims can discover that magic is real by interacting with hidden Sims, depending on their type. Swimming close enough to a mermaid to see its tail will serve as proof, or being abducted by aliens, or seeing a werewolf in its werewolf form.
