Description

In preparation for the release of my 6 track Airline Employee career I needed pictures.
Therefore, I made an airport lot, and loved it so much I decided to share it with you! In order for people to show up to the lot and have something to do, I categorized it as a cafe.

This build is excellent for storytelling, or just for some variety in your sims' world.

The air traffic control tower is home to several computers for your Sims, with 2 computers also in the boarding area of the airport where a gate agent would be.

There are 2 x-ray machines in the Security section but they are not usable. Hopefully someone will make a mod to make them usable outside of the hospital, but for now, as far as I know, there isn't one. However, if you find one, please let me know!

In order to access the airport itself, you need to go through an underground tunnel. The reason for this is that the ramp side of an airport is secure in real life, so I completely fenced in the entire lot with no gates. Also, when I used to work at the airport, to get from the employee parking lot to the building, we had to go through a tunnel, so this seemed practical to me.

The lot traits are:
Fast Internet, because those computers need to be working fast and well.
Natural Light, so your Sims can take pictures saying goodbye to friends and family.
Convivial, because meeting friends and family arriving from away is always a fun and emotional time.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE
{ bb.moveobjects on } and { bb.showhiddenobjects true } were used in the creation of this lot.
This means I may have placed some items outside of their regular slots, and I used catalog items not normally available in Buy Mode.

The lot I built this on is in Brindleton Bay and is 64x64. The views there are beautiful!

To keep this as close to an actual small airport as I could, as represented in my country, there is no playground equipment or any pet items, but you can add those at any time in your game!
