Guess who offered themselves to make the 64x64 park for the "Brasil com S" save file? I don't usually build in such big lots, and I imagine the other people participating in the save file felt the same, as no one had taken it yet, which motivated me to try to do it! I felt it was doable with just one pack, so it's what I did. If I ran out of objects to place, I could've always covered it with plants.
I decided to use Ibirapuera Park as the main inspo, starting with the structure in the center. To help me get the proportions right, I drew the rough shape with terrain paint. It was too small. Had to resize the creature to get more room for the skill building rooms, and the angled front was stressing me out, so turned it into a pergola. Added a second floor in hopes of improving the gallery photo (it didn't work), and finally found a fence/column combo I liked. Just had to switch out every single fence of the pergola to black, which now there's two of, but I got through it.
I planned to cover every corner with trees to soften the edges of the lot while also reducing its overall size. Felt rusty landscaping in a grassy world with just base game after so many pack/desert builds. Although I get why an apartment pack has almost no vegetation. What City Living does have is a debug version of the Get Together clock, but it's messed up, with a hole around the clock hands on all sides. Ended up covering them with sized down posters and tried to fix the noticeable difference during night with a teeny tiny wall light. If you're trying to find it, it's only present in the most expensive version of the build, over the musician area.
...The interior of the building was still too small, but to avoid redoing the creature, I just extended the rooms one tile outwards. Even then, the kitchen of the fake restaurant was awful to fit and gave up on curtains due to the high amount of diagonals. Be aware the park will often be empty because sims prefer to hang out around the stalls and pathways outside the lot. If you have Get Together, you can make a few clubs and assign their hangout location to the lot in order to make it more lively.
