I love the new milestones from Growing Together. I started a new generational game just before the pack came out and it’s been so much fun to watch my family gaining milestones for memorable moments in their lives.

It got me thinking about my main save and the kinds of memorable moments they’ve had there. Most of those moments have milestones that work but a few haven’t. What about when Jack earned a tile on the Starlight Boulevard? Or when Gerald was nominated for, and won, his very first Starlight Accolade? None of those are available as milestones.

This mods adds custom milestones to the game:

Get Famous Package
The Get Famous package has 4 custom milestones.

~ Permanent Celebrity ~ for gaining a tile on the Starlight Boulevard
~ First Starlight Accolade Nomination ~ self explanatory. This is only for the very first, not for subsequent nominations.
~ Won Starlight Accolade ~ self explanatory. Again, this is only for the first win, not for all.
~ Won 5 Starlight Accolades ~ It occurred to me that anyone playing a long lifespan, or even with aging off, might have some incredibly talented Sims who actually win loads of these things. So I thought 5 might be a nice milestone. I can add for others if anyone sees the need.

The milestones all have their own notification when the Sim gains them and a couple have moodlets to go with them. They also all have moodlets that can, occasionally, pop up when a Sim is remembering the occasion.

Vampires Package
The Vampires package has 6 custom milestones.

~ First Drink From Sim ~ This is a primary milestone, meaning all vampires will see the silhouette in their milestone panel before completing it. Self explanatory, it is added the very first time a vampire drinks from another Sim.
~ First Sim Turned ~ Another primary milestone, this requires the ‘First Drink From Sim’ milestone to have been completed. Self explanatory, it completes when a vampire turns their first Sim.
~ Sizzling Epidermis ~ for the first time a Vampire is burned by the sun.
~ Won First Vampire Duel ~ I thought this might be a memorable moment, especially for the new vampires.
~ Became Grand Master Vampire ~ This is literally a top achievement for vampires so it makes sense to have a milestone to record it.
~ Bitten By A Vampire ~ The only milestone in this pack that is NOT for the vamps themselves. Each time a Sim is bitten by a vampire, they’ll get this milestone. Because I’d want to know which vampire drank from me, personally. For professional reasons.

Base Game Package
The Base Game package has 7 new milestones.

~ Very First Kiss ~ For teens and up, not just for the first time they kiss a particular Sim but this milestone marks their very first kiss.
~ First Dream Date ~ When Sims get the first Gold rating on a date.
~ First Day of High School ~ For teens. I noticed children got one for their first day of school, so it felt right the teens got one for High School too.
~ First ‘A’ In Grade School (Child Only) ~ Self explanatory.
~ First ‘A’ In High School (Teens Only) ~ Self explanatory.
~ First ‘F’ In Grade School (Child Only) ~ Self explanatory.
~ First ‘F’ In High School (Teens Only) ~ Self explanatory.
