Hi! I've made this small mod for something I really missed in my gameplay—the ability to earn money by offering other sims Makeovers and running a Beauty salon in the new Businesses & Hobbies pack! I've used the styling chair from "Get Famous" and incorporated it with some tweaks for this new pack to make this possible. With this mod, we can finally style random townies (small business customers) however we want and make money from it. Your earnings will also increase when your star business rank increases. I hope you’ll like this mod as much as I do!
How this mod works:
1. Add the "Get Makeover" acitivity to your business activities
2. Add the Hair & Makeup Chair (from Get Famous EP) to your small business
3. Open your business and earn extra money on these services:
- Offer Appearance Styling - earnings between 80-400 simoleons
- Change Sim in CAS
- Offer Hair Style - earnings between 60-300 simoleons
- Random Hair Style
- Offer Make Up - earnings between 40-200 simoleons
- Random Make Up
Revenue from Services
With this mod, you'll be able to earn extra money in your business. Whether you charge hourly or fixed fees, this income is added on top of your regular earnings. You'll also be able to track the income from these styling activities in your Finances Report after each open-business session, as you would with any other services.
Note: You can only make money from these services when your business is OPEN.
Ask for Styling services
The latest version of this mod allows visiting players to ask for Hair Style and Makeup services when checked in at a small business equipped with a styling chair. The visiting player can choose to get styling from the business owner, or any employee.
Note about randomized styling: To finalize your preferred makeup or hair style, simply exit the styling interaction once you're satisfied with the look. Note that makeup will only be temporary for 24 hours (and only on Everyday, Formal & Party clothing).
