First, you need a Food and Beverage Vendor Permit, which is available at the Rewards Store. Obtaining the food and beverage vendor license bonus feature will allow you to sell your own baked pastries, cakes, drinks, agricultural products, and even raw materials.

You can befriend restaurant owners, bartenders, baristas, and market vendors, and you'll need to 'work' during their sales hours. Click on them while they are working, and the option to 'Sell <item type>' will appear. This will bring up a selector that you can use to sell items from your inventory.

You need to have a certain level of friendliness before merchants will buy the products you sell.

Since businesses need to sell the products they buy from you, under normal circumstances, you can only sell to a specific store once every 6 hours.

A few hours after you sell your product to a supplier, or possibly the next day after business hours, they may contact your character and tell you one of two things:

1. They are impressed with your product. Since it’s selling well, they are willing to buy from you unlimited times in the next 24 hours and will also pay 2x the premium. When a customer is impressed, you can see this relationship status in the customer's profile panel. It lasts for 24 hours.

2. They found a cheaper supplier. They are still willing to buy your product on the same schedule (every 6 hours), but you must offer a 35% discount off the normal supplier price. These customers will display the discount relationship in their profile panel. It lasts for 12 hours.

Each of these scenarios will happen randomly every time you sell a product to a business, but most of the time there will be no special events. You also won’t trigger one of these states after a sale if the customer is already in one of them.

If you have a good relationship with your customers, they will be less likely to switch to a cheaper supplier. If they were your "best friend," they would never consider a cheaper option. Suppliers are also more likely to be impressed with your product and pay a bonus if you have a good relationship with them. Conversely, if you don’t have a good relationship, they are more likely to seek a cheaper supplier, and they will never be impressed. Good relationships with customers lead to more money, while bad relationships lead to less. Selling to a customer provides small relationship gains, so if you sell to them regularly, you should eventually build a positive relationship over time. It’s also not a bad idea to ask them how their day is going when you drop off your shipment.

There is a 'View Customer' option on your character that lets you select a customer and call them to see if they need anything. They will also tell you whether their current status is impressive or if they need a discount.

The following items can be sold, and to whom they can be sold:

• Farm produce market stalls in Mishuno

⊚ Fruit soda, soda water

• Any bartender

⊚ Fresh fish

• Fish market vendors at Tiger Bay
• Market vendors in Xorani
• Restaurants and produce market stalls

⊚ Baked pastry platters, breads, pies, cakes, jams, and jellies from the cupcake factory

• Any barista
• Coffee cart vendors (e.g., University of the Arts)

• Pastry vendor in Tatusa
