Child Life Specialist Career

I've adopted this mod from the amazing ItsKatato who, due to her hiring at EA, couldn't continue to mod. This is my first big project of a mod and I'm excited to host it on my Patreon and keep updating it. Thank you Kale for the trust! Love ya!

"Children and teens of all ages can feel stressed or worried while visiting the hospital or clinic. The unfamiliar environment, loss of control, fear of pain, and lack of routine are among the most common anxieties young patients feel during a health care encounter. Child Life specialists help patients and family members express and work through their concerns, as well as make their hospital stay feel more normal."

Each career level requires different skill levels in Painting, Charisma and Logic.

Level 1: Child Life Student
Description: For students interested in working with children and their families in medical settings, this program prepares students for certification as Child Life Specialists. This unique, multidisciplinary degree program prepares students for work in this exciting and growing field.

Level 2: Children's Hospital Student Volunteer
Description: Volunteers are an important part of the patient experience. Through their gifts of time, talent, and compassion, volunteers help sick and injured children and their families have the best experience possible under their circumstances. As a student, you also gain valuable experience!
Days: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat
Hours: 7:00 - 15:00 (8 hours) —

Level 3: Child Life Practicum Student
Description: A Child Life Practicum is an observation of hospitalized children alongside a child life specialist. The goal of this program is to familiarize the student with the hospital environment and help they connect what they've been learning in the classroom to real-life experiences.

Hours: 7:00 - 15:00 (8 hours)

Level 4: Child Life Intern
Description: The Child Life Internment allows graduates to develop their clinical skills. This internship gives students the opportunity to have a hands-on approach and learn child life skills.

Level 5: Child Life Specialist
Description: You finally finished your internship and you are officially a Child Life Specialist! You can now help patients and family members express and work through their concerns in the hospital environment.
